Gauge Ranges for Compressed Air

Plant air normally runs at 0.6-0.9 MPa, so 0-1.0 MPa or 0-1.6 MPa gauge ranges are standard. A correctly sized range keeps the signal in the accurate band instead of sitting at the bottom of a 40 MPa scale.

4-20mA into the Controller

Compressor controllers, PLCs and SCADA systems all accept 4-20mA. Two-wire transmitters are loop-powered, so no separate supply is needed at the sensor — a clean, standard installation.
