Pressure Measurement Solutions for Every Industry

From filter beds in water plants to hydraulic circuits on construction machinery — PRESS SPEC pressure transducers and transmitters are engineered for the way each industry actually measures pressure.

Four Application Areas, One Factory

Every industry above shares the same measurement fundamentals: a pressure range sized with margin, an output signal that matches the control system, wetted materials that survive the media, and an accuracy grade that fits the job. That is why one factory can serve a water plant, a commercial building, a construction machine and a compressor room without compromise — the same PT100, PT200 and PT400 platforms, configured for each application and calibrated to each process.

WHY STANDARDIZE

Why One Pressure Sensor Supplier Makes Sense

One Supplier, Four Industries

Water, HVAC, hydraulics and pneumatics cover most industrial pressure measurement. Standardizing on PRESS SPEC means one datasheet format, one quality system and one export team across all your projects.

Ranges to Cover the Map

From 0-50 kPa differential on filter beds to 0-40 MPa on hydraulic circuits — the PT100, PT200 and PT400 families plus differential pressure transducers span the full application range.

Signals That Plug into Your System

4-20mA two-wire for PLCs and SCADA, 0-10V for short runs, RS485 for digital networks, and HART on the PT200 series for configuration and diagnostics.

Application-Specific Engineering

Hygienic flush diaphragms for process water, IP67 housings for washdown areas, damped response for hydraulic shock — configurations tuned to how each industry actually uses sensors.

FAQ

Application Questions

How do I choose between a pressure transducer and a pressure transmitter?

Both measure the same pressure. A transducer typically outputs a voltage signal (0-10V) for short runs and OEM boards; a transmitter outputs 4-20mA two-wire for long runs, PLCs and SCADA systems. For plant integration, 4-20mA transmitters are the default. If you are unsure, tell us the distance from sensor to controller and the input type of your PLC or BMS — we will recommend the right family and wiring.

Do you offer low-range sensors for HVAC applications?

Yes. Differential pressure transducers cover 0-50 kPa and below, which includes duct static pressure and filter monitoring. Share your operating pressure and required accuracy and we confirm the right low-range configuration.

Can one sensor family cover both hydraulics and water treatment?

The PT100 platform covers ranges up to 40 MPa, so the same core family serves 1.6 MPa water lines and 40 MPa hydraulic circuits — with different ranges, connections and housings per application.

What output signals do you support for control systems?

4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, RS485 and HART (PT200 series). Tell us your PLC, controller or BMS input and we match the output.

How fast can you supply sensors for a new project?

Standard models ship quickly from stock or short production runs; custom OEM configurations take 15-25 days after sample approval. Quotations and availability are confirmed within 24 hours.
